As always , what Japan and Honda are doing in robotics is totally amazing.
Can anyone even imagine the awesome product they will have out in the next 10/20 years!
I am so in awe of the work they are doing in this field.

Linn, The hi-fi system manufacture wont be making any more machines that play cd’s from 2010.
I am sure there will be loads of others to follow as the cd disk goes the way of the vinyl records and cassette tapes, which are still made now I know, but a very specialist sector now.
I am very much for change and the future for music I feel is stores like iTunes, but as with so many new technologies now, it is a shame that people these days wont be going down to there local store browsing some great covers and packaging that the older vinyl, tapes cassette, and cd box’s used to be, and also being in a real store with real people, not a link on a page etc.
Once broadband speeds get much faster Movies will def go the same way.
For music at least, people will still go to concerts and gigs, but with the ever bigger size of TV’s, and the picture and sound quality you get now, and the fact most screens at movie hall screens are so darn small now, I think the movie industry has a little wake up call on the cards…
Does make me wonder at times, what the world will be like in 50 years time?
Will everyone be doing everything from home, and the interaction with people and the world be very limited by then?
Google showed more of its Chrome OS this week.
This would I guess be ideal for those laptops and pc’s these days that can boot Linux from Rom, or from a USB stick etc.
If you want a quick boot to browse the web or mostly only do online, this will prob be really cool.
But I doubt Microsoft are worried too much, most will still use a full blow OS for office, games etc for the foreseeable future I think, and also it might put off some that some of there browsing info and saved stuff will be on Google servers…
Def great for a quick boot or you want to feel more secure online…..
Bought a copy of this game and after only 2 nights, had come to the end already!
I was really surprised just how short that game was for the money.
For sure the game is as hectic as hell, loads moving around on the screen and not a minute to breath, the animations I thought were really good in this.
Although there were boring parts to this game, the one that sticks out the most is part when you are on a boat racing down the river, and if you try and use your own gun , you cant see where the hell you are going.
My take, expensive game, too short and no dedicated servers support.
Great graphics and animations, and very fast action, but for me that don’t outweigh the negative points above.
Just reading on the BBC sport F1 site that Eddie Jordan believes that Michael Schumacher will return to F1 next season in the rebranded Brawn team , Mercedes Grand prix.
Eddie Jordan always seems to get the news first as seen through last season on the BBC, so that tells me there is a very good chance this will happen, as long as Michael gets his neck problem sorted out that stopped him taking part last season to cover for Massa.
Next season looked interesting as it was with Jenson joining Lewis , but throw in Michael Schumacher and also not forget Alonso at Ferrari and that really makes 2010 season awesome.
Fingers crossed 🙂
