Realflight G4

I have the old Realflight G2 r/c simulator and as the G4 version is quite a update and also to go with my refound intrest and fascination with aircraft , I bought the G4 version.

Also to go with the helicopter I bought, I bought of copy of the add on pack volume 4 which has the thunder tiger e325 listed, and just as well as I am trying this on a simulator first, these are much harder to fly than I ever imagined and to be honest investing in this sim and add on pack is going to be much cheaper than crashing the real thing 😉 A very worthwhile investment and this version works very well, seems to be quite close to how you really fly a model plane, and judging by my attempts at flying this helicopter, it will need a few hours indeed of practice before I try the Thunder tiger E325 that I have.

Thunder Titan E325

With toying with the idea of getting back into radio controlled models again, I just got myself one of these electric Helicopters. I have never flown a helicopter before , so this shall be a challenge 😉

I guess with hindsight, I should have bought some spare blades, as I am sure I am going have a few crashes as these things are harder to fly than model aircraft for sure.

These come pretty much ready to fly out of the box, with all radio gear and battery etc. Although you do need to get batteries for the transmitter, anyway some pics as it comes in the box below, before I crash it 😉

8gig iPhone sold out in UK

Surely donbt take a brain surgeon to work out why the £169 pound iphone sold out so quick? I have read its due to the 3g version coming etc etc, but I am sure most who bought one of these reduced phones will have it unlocked and making a tidy sum on ebay etc for it.

Would love to know how many of those were actually activated and used on the o2 network, I bet it was not many at all 😉
