Surely donbt take a brain surgeon to work out why the £169 pound iphone sold out so quick? I have read its due to the 3g version coming etc etc, but I am sure most who bought one of these reduced phones will have it unlocked and making a tidy sum on ebay etc for it.
Would love to know how many of those were actually activated and used on the o2 network, I bet it was not many at all 😉
It seems there are users of the new macbook air, which are still having overheating problems with there new toys. I must admit when I used one, I noticed it did seem to fry when you were doing anything that demanded a high load on it. No real surprise to me to be honest and even when I first see one, I thought how on earth they going to keep this thing cool? The fan inside the unit has to be small also and personally its no surprise these are getting so hot when in heavy use. And also for long term reliability you have got to keep a laptop as cool as possible. The small enclosed form factor and the power of cpu’s , hard disk etc means all laptops get hot, and as ncie and pretty as the new Air is, making anything that thin is a worry about not only how it will perform now, but is the thinness of it going cause problems down the road? I would love to get a sniff of the failed units returns figures on these so far;-) As always, its better to wait for the next revision 2 of a apple product and also the price cut and then I will get one myself 😉
I have recorded my lowest pressure reading of the year so far this morning, so I guess its going to be quite a nasty day out there today! So to anyone riding a Motorcycle out there today, take great care! Roll on spring please I say 😉
My word, we have had 2 lovely days here in the UK, its been blue skys and temps around 15c , pretty darn nice for early Feb! Mind you last year we have a couple of warm nice weeks in April and then after that it rained all summer! So I do hope this is not all we are going to get again! But was sure nice to see some sunny and mild days after the lack of any summer last year! Still back to normal weather tomorrow onwards I hear 😉
Its that time of year already when Steve or Jesus to his many loyal apple fans shows what new tricks he has up his sleeve.
I would expect it surely to be some kind of ultra laptop with a flash drive of some sort, maybe wimax too? And of course with a apple price tag to match. 😉
A updated 3g iPhone for later in the year? Maybe with gps in it?

For sure it will be a darn sight more intresting then CES 2008 seemed to be from all I have read.
Put me down for the updated iPhone, since I have been able to install 3rd party apps, it does everything I need it to now and have to say its the best phone I have used 🙂
So hopefully in the next version they will make sure it supports all that any mobile phone comes with these days with that great interface 🙂
