Wings N Wheels 2010

Spent the day again down at this years wings n wheels show in Essex and the weather was just like last year, and that was nice and very warm!

Did not seem as many people or trade stalls there this year, but maybe that was due to England playing in the world cup on the Sunday we went.

Just loved the noise of the turbine jets, they were awesome

Did not get much video from the day though, a bit too hard too keep up with the speed of some of the planes flying around.

Still, great day, great noise and was a lot of fun.

Yamaha RD400 Wheelie

Not many clips of these around, wish I had a camera and youtube around back in my day though! These were fun ole bikes in fun times

🙂

Tricky back in there day, very small powerband and you had to get it just right to wheelie off the throttle, normally together with a tug on the bars at the right point.

Always a great thrill though 🙂

Yamaha RD250

Browsing around Youtube and came across this and brought back many great memories.

Amazing job the owner has done on this one , looks like it has just come out of the box!

I forgot just how awesome these bikes looked back in there day and the wonderful sound of having expansion pipes on these.

Brought smiles to my face hearing that lovely pop pop noise they used to make!

Mars Spirit Rover movement

Seems after a million tests and being stuck in sand for 6 months, the wee little rover has moved a bit.

I think its amazing the batteries inside the machine still charging as well as they are.

Still I hope the team working in it get the result they want, heaven knows they must have the patience of a saint!
