Michael Schumacher return to Formula one

Very intrested to read Michael Schumacher was thinking of making a return for Massa who would pprob be out of racing for a while.
As it turned out it was no rumour and the 40 year old is making a comeback at the next race. That takes a lot of guts to step back into the F1 scene again.
When you leave any sport at the height and then try a comeback, there is always a big risk you wont do so well and it takes the shine of all you did in the past.
But Michael seems to have still worked hard on keeping fit and that for sure gives him a chance, but still must be hard trying to compete against some drivers who are 20 years younger in F1 now. But if he can still pull some magic out of that 40 year old body, he will go down in history even more so.
Shall be great to see how he does and for sure, he wil draw big tv and race audiences for his come back, and I hope he does well.

Can you imagine what these will be like in another 10 years time? Must be so interesting to be working in this technology!

Upgrading Vista to Windows 7

Just as a test a while back I downloaded the RC version of Windows 7 and done a upgrade from Vista to Windows 7, to see how it would go.
If you do try this, be prepared for a long install! It takes much much longer than a fresh install for sure.
And after running it for a while now, it really has made little difference that I can see to the performance, and still takes ages to load and lots of disk thrashing.
I was curious how it would perform with a fully installed Vista system with loads of apps on a upgrade.
My advice when it ships in October this year, is do a fresh install!
As doing a upgrade over the top seems to make little difference to performance.
On a fresh install it def runs better than Vista , but what happens in time will be intresting, after installing loads of apps, how much will it slow down….
The Xp mode is a intresting idea, although you need a powerful CPU to use it at a decent speed.
Shall be intresting when the final ships and can then see some benchmarks on it all.
I think Windows 7 will be a good upograde, but to me its really like Vista mark 2, rather than anything mega new.

Wel done Brawn GP

Well done to Brawn GP , Virgin , Jenson and Rubens!
You have to hand it to Richard Branson, he sure knows how to pick a winner!

Although the front wings on the all the 2009 cars looked totally crap, it was great to watch the qualifying and racing on the first race of the new season and worth getting up early to watch it live and even better that as the BBC are now covering it again, no more adverts and missing anything that went on during the ad breaks itv had.
I am glad that the bbc brought over Martin Brundell, his knowledge and skills would have been sorely missed if he was not there again.

Great win Jenson and nice to have a more interesting character and team winning 😉
